In peg solitaire, a move consists of jumping a peg over an existing peg into an empty hole (horizontally or vertically). The jumped peg is then removed. The goal is to end up with a single peg on the board. In a 4x4 grid of pegs, play peg solitaire. There are basically three starting positions (remove a peg from location A, B, or F in the grid to the right.) Can you find a solution for each? Try to leave the final peg as close to the starting hole as possible. | A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P |
